Warriors: Rise of ShadowClan Part1 chapter 8




   "What did I do?"  Darkpaw asked, feeling a sudden sickness overwhelming him.
"You killed Soothepaw what does it look like?" Russetfur snarled.
She turned and looked at the still body of the apprentance.
"Wh-what? Why would I do that?" Darkpaw snapped. Suddenlym he remembered. The Bloodlust overwhelming him, his vision cloudin red as he leaped. Aiming for the throught of his enemy, Soothepaw reminded him killing was not always the answer. Angry, He had turned on her and killed her.
Suddenly, Darkpaw got up, looked Russetfur in the eye and wailed, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?"
Russetfur blinked and watched as her clanmate ran ff, tears streaming from his face.

   "There's somthing about him..." Blackstar murmered. "Why would starclan send us a emon like him?" He sighed.
"And that dream? Waht could it all mean, Darlk?"
"Well how would I know?" The mouse replied.  "The Mousades never did anything like this to us, we lived more...Peacefully."
blackstar let out a heavy sigh, and layed down.
"Mabey he doesnt need to stay. Icant let him. Not after what he's done."

   "I'm sorry, Darkpaw. But this clan cant go on with you here, killing people off."
The clan gave hostile glares at Darkpaw. He lowered his gaze.
"You are hereby exiled from ShadowClan. by next sunhigh,m if you are still here, then you will be treated like any other intruder." Almost guiltily, Blackstar swung around and walked into his den.
"It's a sadday when a 'paw gets exiled," a loner mewed.

   Darkpaw ran out of camp, holding back the hot tears. They blurred his vision, but he diddnt stop,his paws pounding on the ground. The sky was still bright,b ut no birds sang, as if they knew what was happening. Darkpaw stopped at the Thunderclan border and quietly stepped over. Luckily, he made it across.

   By Sunrise, Darkpaw had made it to a strange place. It seemed like an endless twoleg place. thunderpaths and monsters where evreywhere. He stepped onto a Thunderpath and made sure no monsters where coming. when he didnt see one, he bolted across. Once he made it to the other side, he leaped on a twoleg fence and walked on it. He saw many yards and kittypets sleping in them.
"Is that what ill turn into? a fat, lazy kittypet?" He said aloud.
"Who ya callin' fat 'n lazy?" a voice spat.
darkpaw looked at theyard he stood next to. A tortiseshell tom stood n the yard, his fur fluffed out in anger. he unsheathed his claws an lashed his tail.
"well you are. Always eating cream and drinkingmlk, no real food, depending on your twiolegs to keep you alive,  all-"
Suddenly teh Kittypet launched at him and knocked him off the fence. He toppled off and hit the sement hard. yowling out in pain, he closed his eyes. a few moments later, her opened them again to see the Kittypet over him.

   "Hold still, or your dead."
